What is Concurrent credit?Quitman High school students have the opportunity to satisfy both high school and university credit requirements simultaneously through specific concurrent credit courses. Concurrent course offerings use the same curriculum as courses taught at the university while providing high school students with the opportunity to acquire some credit in college level general education courses.
QHS currently offers one concurrent course, Introduction to Education through the University of Central Arkansas. We also offer College English, College Algebra, College Trigonometry and College Psychology on campus through ASU Beebe. It is important to remember that students must meet testing requirements in order to enroll in college courses. |
High School Credit + College Credit = Concurrent Enrollment Credit
